Ben worked with individual program areas to create a customized dashboard for each area.  First, he gained an in-depth understanding of what the program area was charged with doing and how they were completing that work.  Then, he helped them define the key variables of their work and establish data tracking systems for them.  Finally, Ben used PowerPoint and Tableau to create the program area’s interactive dashboard, which displayed their metrics in real-time.  The dashboards automatically updated as new data was added. To help leadership understand where in the large complex each team was conducting this work, Ben then integrated the dashboard data into a 3D map of the complex. When a building on the map was clicked, the dashboard data was displayed.
